Modernized legacy JSF codebases to meet modern digital accessibility standards, refactoring core components without disrupting business continuity. Designed internal frameworks and shared libraries that streamlined delivery pipelines across target platforms.
Delivered national-scale web and mobile solutions. Handled legacy Flash interfaces and spearheaded their migration prior to tool deprecation, while developing native mobile features via Android (Java/JDK). I consider digital accessibility (a11y) a fundamental architectural requirement rather than an afterthought. Software should be inclusive and intuitive for everyone, regardless of ability or constraints.
Throughout my career, I have championed accessibility standards in both greenfield projects and complex legacy systems. One of the most challenging experiences involved dealing with third-party UI libraries that lacked native accessibility compliance, even in newer versions. To resolve this, our team monkey-patched and overrode library internals, injecting custom behaviors to ensure full compatibility with modern usability and accessibility standards.
Hobbies & Interests
I really enjoy video games. I’ve been playing with my father since I was little, which sparked a growing interest in both computers and gaming. I play a wide variety of genres, including FPS, action, platformers, racing, simulators, and more.
Swimming originally came into my life for health reasons. Since I grew up in a house with a backyard opening right onto the Paraná River, I've had a passion for swimming since childhood. I really enjoy practicing different styles and pushing my limits in every workout.
Programming became my career and where I have dedicated most of my time, but beyond that, I genuinely love to code. As I like to say, I am a versatile developer: whenever a challenge comes up, I enjoy building a custom solution to solve it.
